Recommended for clients with injuries or chronic pain that doesn’t go away with a traditional massage. Trigger Points are microscopic spasms that form at the neuromuscular junction, where the nervous system communicates with a muscle. Muscles with trigger points become weak, painful, and dysfunctional, and can pre-dispose the body to more serious injury. 

This is a collaborative session that requires input from the client that will focus on finding and deactivating trigger points in various tissues of the body. During this approach the client will build kinesthetic awareness (body awareness), and with this understanding comes the opportunity to confront, account for, and ultimately, let go of chronic pain. 

The session includes a full postural assessment for muscle imbalances and a comparative Range of Motion (ROM) assessment.
